Ok, so I'm about to start a new career as a cocktail server to work my way through college ……?
I have never served before and hope to work my way very quickly barman. It, s in a Hilton hotel. Does anyone have any tips or tricks of the trade? How to balance trays? Split checks? Dealing with difficult people? I think the job will be easy and fun, I just want to be goods in it.
I've been waiting tables for 12 years … different places have different expectations that will train for. The most important thing to deal with people is super friendly and you think how you'd like be treated and what you need. Smile even if you get unhappy and apologize, but some things are not their fault. Acting is important part or be a good servant!
