Cocktails Hot Leg
I know this may be a bit early, but the summer of 07.?
My husband is graduating from the police academy this July and there is always a feast semi-formal for the graduates and guests. I want to look hot. I know I can be a bit silly to think that so early, but never go anywhere where it is really appropriate to wear. Where we live in the sticks, when people go, is still typically jeans and sweatshirts / T-shirts. I like to feel sexy (not slutty). I'm 5'6 "And 125 pounds. However, I have some long trunk and short legs for my height, and I am a bit pear-shaped, but not too bad. Does anyone know what will be in this summer as far as cocktail / party dresses go? What trend be good for my body type? Where is the best place to get them? I live about halfway between Indianapolis and St. Louis.
You can NEVER go wrong with the "little black dress." Coming from a man who appreciates slutty but not hot. Just my two cents. I did not pay any attention before … I'm an hour east of Indy … cool. Then you would be somewhere around Terre Haute? If you have a lot of places to go shopping in an hour.
