1978 BMW 320i? Knowing opinion please?
Soo, I found this wonderful white 1978 BMW 320i on craigslist and it seems a really nice car. Only it has 120,000 and is perfect except for a small hole in the floor. The only thing that keeps me from buying on my next trip to see is the fact that I live in Buffalo. We are known throughout the country by a crazy weather such as blizzards that make for some horrible driving. Certainly have to get tires Snow and weight in the trunk, but if I am a careful driver this would still be a bad idea? My plan is just driving this winter, at most, because the cocktail of chemicals salt makes these cars in rotboxes. Overall, this car is a good idea for my situation?
A car like that is rare to have only 120,000 ft in perfect condition. I still buy it if I had three holes in the floor plate. That can be addressed easily. Buy the car before anyone else does, and repent.
