what ingredients would go to make a blue-coloured cherry cocktail?
I had one at a pub years ago but dont know how to make it. It was a proper blue colour and cherry flavour, no fruit or anything in it, i don’t think even any fruit juice. It was very arficial and sweet in flavour but yum!
Is there a name for it and what spirits/ingredients would go in it?
How would I get the blue colour?
agavemark- there’s nothing cherry flavoured in your drink, just an orangey drink with a blue cherry on top.
This drink was a blue coloured drink, with a very sweet, strong cherry flavour.
blue curaco would make the blue coloring.
the blue cherry cocktail i have had we called blue balls where i worked. i don’t know if that is the correct recipe you are looking for, but here is ours
1.5 oz – 2 oz cherry vodka (i like three olives cherry)
3/4 oz blue curaco
fill glass with ice and sprite
shake
hope fully this is similar to what you are looking for
by the way… it has to be cherry vodka, because cherry brandy and cherry schnapps are all red in color, which would have been a purple drink when mixed with blue curaco. and there is nothing that you could mix with red to make blue
