Native Indians lived and hunted in Kentucky as long as 13,000 years now.
The Europeans, in search of vast land had arrived here in the 17th century, and began to uproot them.
The Indians, of course, attacked the European establishments with vigor, but gradually were reprimanded by the newcomers.
In1776 Kentucky became a county around 1792 and became the 15th U.S. state and Frankfurt became the state capital.

With 350 miles of corridor, Mammoth Cave National Park is the longest cave system in the world. The process of cave formation is still happening. Attracts temperatures has many hovering around 54 ˚ F and is free in its entirety the year except Christmas Day.
