Bitter Beers

bitter beers
Other beers to treat a range of VB and Old Thooeys?

Both are Australian beers. VB is cheap and hard. Old falvour is dark with a strong, thick and salty but not as brave. I like strong bitter taste and a heavy beer. I just do not believe in light beer, in principle, i prefer to alternate heavy beer water than have them mixed together. Not many places sell old, and I feel like I should expand my tastes. Coopers Stout tried last night (I knew anchovy, I'm not impressed.) Stuff readily available in bars and bottle shops in Brisbane please.

I'm not a beer drinker, but my husband is even I'm not sure about VB Thooeys drank when we were in Aus and thought is similar to the British bitter. I recommend trying a selection of some of the breweries smaller around the Cotswolds such as Hook Norton and Brakspears. I do not know where they are based, but I'm sure you can buy these online if google. Old Hen and Hobgoblin spotted two large beers, but are not sure of the brewery tasting happy!
