Beer Glossary
What follows is only partial, indicative list of terms related to beer and brewing. As development beer is a complex process, a number of other terms that become known to go deep in this wonderful world.
Graduation
Alcohol content is expressed as a percentage of the volume or weight. It is often referred to as ABV (alcohol by volume).
Ale
Ales are fermented and warm up with top fermenting yeast because these beers are generally stronger and stronger in the taste of lagers.
Bitter

One of the two types of yeast used in brewing. Top-fermenting yeast works better at higher temperatures and can tolerate higher concentrations of alcohol-fermenting yeast. It is capable of fermenting sugars and results in a fruity, sweet beer.
