how do i get more milk supply to feed my 6 mo old son?
I’m nursing as often as possible and have been pumping bc he doesn’t latch on for more than a minute bc he’s fustrated he’s not getting enough milk. I’ve tried Reglan for a week bc I heard it produces milk from the prolactin but it gave me severe panic attacks. I’m currently drinking mothers milk, drinking water all day long too, as well as a malt beer once in a while. I’m no fan of formula so I need to tackle this one asap. Also spoke w la leche a few times but they say to keep nursing. Any ideas???
try putting a worm cloth or heating pad not to hot, and massage, and also try to not to get frusterated because your child can tell and the he will become frusterated and he wont try to latch on. Dont give up try to be calm and relaxe, and if it doesnt work understand that lots of babies arn’t breast fed and turn out just fine. Maybe even try to pump to get your milk to come in better, or you will dry up
