Where did all these experts internet marketing "come from?

As I can scan my inbox on a daily basis I have offers to improve the quality of my site, create new catchy logos, and increase traffic through every method imaginable – but that makes these guys experts?

Visit their websites, if you dare! When I feel bored, this is what I do …

Check your Google Page Rank. To do this, install Google Toolbar – you can get in http://toolbar.google.com

Although Google Page Rank does nothing to tell how many people link to a site, if the result is lower 2 or 3, they have a problem. (Experts on the Internet "should know how to build their own page rank – if not?)

Then check your Alexa ranking. To do this, you can install the Alexa toolbar or visit http://www.alexa.com/ # and enter the address of the site.

An Alexa ranking of over a million means that the site receives little traffic. Would you buy a service to improve traffic SU someone who can not even get people to visit the YOUR site?

Watch the pages of the site – How is a dog's breakfast and return spoiled warming? Are there banners and ads for everything from implants Hair for holidays in Tahiti?

Then open the site in the browser and view the source. In Internet Explorer, simply select the menu View and the Source option.

Do a quick search of the keyword meta tag. You will often see labels filled with dozens of keywords, misspelled variants and variations that look like an invasion of thesaurus.

In fact, if you find more than a few keywords keywords and phrases, the author is only aware of how the keywords meta tag is treated by the search engine spiders today.

For any classification at all, the page and everything in it must have a clear and strong. This is not always possible in the home – where a person can offer four or five different (but related) services, but certainly in each of the inside pages, the subject of the page should ring loud and clear.

While in the source code view, have a look for JavaScript, Flash inclusions and other features that are not HTML. If you see the script tags unlabeled matching NoScript – the author is using the features that users without script support can not use. Search engine spiders are also unable (or no) to emulate the characteristics script.

Guess what happens to a site that requires users to have JavaScript to navigate beyond the first page? Neither users with JavaScript disabled, or search engine never go beyond the first page!

Oh, yes, and calls link … These have to be so annoying that almost always end up straight in the trash. I can count on one hand the number of real connection requests coming from the webmasters of sites complimentary mine.

Many of these I have corresponded with – but the thousands of other unrelated, fake sites Just make you wonder what these people are thinking.

In addition, Google, last update – it is said that reciprocal links are being severely discredited in terms of higher Page Rank. Best job in the one-way links, as you give me for publishing this article on your site. :)

Just for fun, run the site through an HTML Validator service, such as http://validator.w3.org/ – despite a certain amount of non-standard HTML can be acceptable, it is expect these so-called experts can write HTML well enough to be your homepage at least happen in many ways.

Last but not least, check the domain registration. Try http://www.whois.sc/beer-store.com (replace the beer-store.com website with the domain you want to check – without http:// or extra characters)

If the site has been registered for less than a couple of years, giving so-called "experts" of experience to give advice to anyone?

(Could you let a doctor with less than two years of education and experience that open like a sausage into practice his first heart surgery open?)

Unfortunately, the Internet is a place where time seems to pass like dog years. Is it true that anyone who has read one or two e-books Internet Marketing and Search Engine Optimization now considered an expert?

As for samples and references – check them out carefully! A seller of products similar to the custom toolbar http://www.custom-toolbars.com my product gives references to 7 or 8 "customers" – but when they are monitoring through of – you'll find that these "customers" are the same person!
