Fundraising Ideas? Bottle Caps?
I'm in my school robotics team, and the school district's recent budget cuts, the possibility exists that you could lose funding. As it is, it costs about $ 5,000 to enter each regional robotics competition without have what it takes to build the robot. I wonder what people have unique fundraiser! Not just the typical car washes or candy sales, but something really generate interest! Robotics is "off" season, so we have time. In addition, we have been collecting plastic bottle caps, such as regular soda bottles during the entire season. We are going green, so that was part of our project, but we have some bottle caps to spare, and I wondered if there was something we could do with them. jewelry projects, companies that use them, so I bottle cap jewelry is usually with a bottle of beer type tapas, so I'm not sure what we can do with the soda bottle caps. Call CEO office a couple of local technology companies. Ask if you can interview the person as part of a school project. During the interview, ask the person how raised funds to start your business? Your answers will enlighten you. Possible laugh at your question, then sometimes to share with you the techniques to "borrow the money." While more work could open the door for you. Hope this helps.
