Price of beer and a night in Hong Kong?
Going to Hong Kong for 6 nights on the eve of New Year with a peer group and my questions are. How much does a beer? How long do I need to spend six nights worth of heavy drinking? What clothes do people wear when they leave, is a T-shirt and jeans well or do u need to dress a little? Thank you very much in advance for your answers.
Hello, Hong Kong is a truly incredible was there a bunch of times and love it. However, I strongly recommend you take a lot of money if you want to make a drunken tour of bars and clubs, is nothing cheap! A beer (about one pint) can cost more than $ 40 HKD, some pubs run a happy hour in the afternoon when prices can be much more cheap. Wines and spirits are too expensive. Club admission average about $ 200 HKD and HKD around $ 100-150 per drink (depending on where you go) and not really get going until well past midnight Hong Kong Island is in my opinion the best place for nightlife in the world. The parties to visit are more vibrant Lan Kwai Fong (excellent bar with a friendly international match), Wanchai, vibrant, but a bit of poor quality. You can even get these at the airport to include a return journey and travel days included in the price. You may obtain a refund of the deposit when you go home most of the bars have no dress code casual than elegant. HK is a very hot spot and the cosmo so dress to impress! Avoid using all white, it means death and grief there. Most clubs have luxury elegant dress. Depending on the time of year when humidity can be very high, it can be a bit cold at night, never been there in years again however. A strong word of advice …………… Poleax in public is absolutely a social taboo, much less, not tolerated by the police in Hong Kong too well at all. Restrict your antics at the bar or club and are in a taxi home as soon as possible. Saving grace here is that they are very cheap and millions of them. No limits to you them to drink, there's lots to see and do, Lantau Island and southern Hong Kong Island itself and the Victoria Peak is a fantastic must have time and be safe!
