What defines a dry beer?
I'm making Mexican-style beer from a kit that comes with a package of things he said he would make a dry beer if you add the yeast. What does it mean, dry beer? The wine is as distasteful to me.
The term "dry" all the residual sugars were consumed by the yeast and turned to alcohol. Some people confuse dry acidity and bitterness, which are very different. From Mexican beers are not particularly malt (chocolate brown as beer and stout) I think dry is a good characterization. malt beer to keep their sugars have more of the sugars the yeast have trouble digesting such as maltose and lactose.
