Housewarming party ideas?
Hi all, I have a question here. We bought a house in a suburb of Los Angeles last month. All we are already settled in and wanted to make an housewarming party to meet new neighbors. Distribute invitations to the middle of our street and the neighbors behind us. A total of 18 Its a very eclectic community. It's awesome. The question is what kind of food we serve? The game is scheduled for tomorrow. I know afternoon, but asked our idea was to make his own sandwich buffet, all on a table and guests can help themselves to whatever they want, also pastas and Dervan hours (SP?) refreshments (various types) and some beer. In the 34 days since we've been here its been awesome and we really want to meet neighbors. We are involved in the community also, last night we attended the neighborhood council meeting. Your choice of food seems perfect. It's all about the variety and choice. Let your customers decide what they want. Also since you are new to the neighborhood, maybe you can ask about other annual events, such as a block sale, or in winter time sculpting snowball snow. If they do not do that, maybe you can start a few. If your party is warming, however, may be the beginning of the cultures of the new neighborhood. Good luck and enjoy!
