Unlike other ancient cultures, the food was generally abundant in ancient Egypt. The Egyptians relied on the annual flooding of the Nile to create fertile land producing crops that fed the masses. In the art of ancient Egypt, food preparation is a much more popular than its consumption. However, banquets and parties were common among nobles. Goose meat is cooked and popular, but were very likely limited to those with the wealth to afford such delicacies.

A Greek scholar named University who traveled to Egypt in the third century wrote that Egyptian beer was very strong and aid in the enjoyment of song and dance. The Delta region and the western desert is filled with many wineries.
The life of Ancient Egypt have offered the amenities that many of us enjoy today, however, food was rarely a problem because the land and the Nile provides a rich variety of meats, vegetables and fruit for the citizens Egypt.
