Beer Hops Plants

Any reason why regret growing hops?
I have a very shady yard myself and I know there is a hop plant who likes the shade, but from what I hear is too strong for the gardener a little lazy. But I have a friend who likes to make their own beer, has insomnia, and the recent years has decided to try to do some gardening minimum. He has a huge patio that pen fenced with 6 ft panels (almost an acre of them.) In recent he began the cultivation of tomato plants against some of them and balloons had not even with minimal care. I managed to get a tomato-year mine past – the same plants. He bought a pumpkin plant, as well as I. Mine was eaten immediately. There were all kinds of squash. So, obviously, that has a thumb green. I want to buy his own hops plants, but I will not carry the plant that ate New York, and Audrey II from Little Shop of Horrors. Anything that must be considered before rhizomes buy a few?
I live in zone 3 and since I have mine planted nine years ago, have become well established. They will take over. I swear some days you can watch them grow. All jumps that I am familiar with the need full sun. If you do not get enough that do not flower or flower poorly. Tell your friend who likes scalar (can easily reach the eaves of a history of a house in a growth of years). They like their roots cool and like to be well watered. Feeding with compost and liquid fertilizer employer must produce enough hops to brew with. You may want to consult his friend as there are different varieties used for different styles of beer.
