Cango Cuevas

The Cango Wildlife Ranch is situated on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn in the Little Karoo, and since its inception in 1977 has grown into one of the biggest tourist attractions in the region. In 1988 the Ranch developed a facility known as Cheetahland within its borders, in an effort to promote its objective to make known to the public the endangered species. This plant is home to a variety of big cats, which can be seen from a high "Gateway" to provide a good view of these magnificent creatures. Cape of Good Hope Reserve
Located at the southernmost tip of the peninsula is the nature reserve, with fantastic panoramic views of the Cape of Good Hope the viewing area, accessible by cable car. The area has a dry and desolate, but this is deceptive as more than half the flowering plants of the peninsula, as the protea grow here. The reserve is also home to zebra, baboon, ostrich and eland. On the north coast of KwaZulu-Natal this massive park has recently been declared a World Heritage of Humanity Site. With an area of 680 acres of wilderness that at least five different ecosystems represented as a large lake, coral reef, a rainforest sub tropical islands and reed swamps covered towering dunes. With such a diverse ecology of the park is home to all forms of wildlife than 6000 white pelicans, hippos 800, 1200 crocodiles and turtles, flamingos, sharks, whales and dolphins. The Greater St. Lucia Wetlands are 136 miles north of Durban. Hermanus

Kirstenbosch was established in 1913 to promote and preserve the native flora of southern Africa. Located on the eastern slopes of the mountain, the estate covers 528 hectares and includes a cultivated garden and nature reserve. There are several trails through natural forests and access to Table Mountain is possible via marked routes up, Skeleton Gorge and Nursery Ravine. The restaurant is open daily, as well as a book and curio shop to browse through. Every Sunday from December to March Gardens Summer Sunset Concerts, with a wide variety of music both local and classical. Take along a picnic and this is something that no visitor should miss the Cape. Park Kruger National
With an area of nearly five million hectares, Kruger National Park is the largest reserve in South Africa and home to an astonishing variety of animals, including the "big five'-lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo. Pilanesberg National Park
