How I can make a beer meister or barrel-o-evaluator from an old refrigerator school? I need something else?
are hard to do? expensive? what equipment is needed tools.
We have made one, but the cost of hardware, lines and regulator cost almost as much as a barrel-o-ly, input at Sears. You need a drill and a drill to accommodate the shooter, you need a tap handle, CO2 regulator, tap and lines. Mine is a Kelvinator refrigerator 1964 with a hole drilled in the door. Its high enough that we can maintain a 50-pound CO2 bottle inside. His appearance is part of its old charm. It also maintains beer in a frosty 40 degrees. The fact the lists are cheaper and you don not have to run to the store restaurant, but there is something satifying to do yourself. Makes the beer taste better. Good luck!
