2. Add to the beauty of flower arrangements with branches of an azalea bush in bloom, dry branches, bamboo or wicker. If you use bamboo or cane (or other similar plants with hollow stems), be sure to cut a notch on top of each set will be under water so that the mother is full. The flowers of shrubs such as azaleas, you must have slit the stems or bark peeled so as to expose as large as possible a surface of wood fiber to absorb water. Leave the cut parts of the plant to look like ribbons. This will absorb most amount of water and make the flowers last longer.

If you wait, that produce a milky sap that is dry and seal the stem end so that it can not absorb water. The use of warm (not hot) will help even more. Do not forget to wash hands after handling stems corny, the sap can cause skin rashes.
4. Do not over its multitude of flowers. Leave room around the stems so that each flower can get the moisture it needs.
Container Tips:
1. As a rule, you should choose containers with little or no pattern. Patterns in the container have focus away from your beautiful flowers.
2. Be careful with trumpet-shaped vases. They are not a good option since they are prone to tip over, especially when used with heavier flowers.
3. Heavy-headed flowers such as peonies or lilies or in pewter mugs or pitchers of beer. Mugs are heavier and, again, to avoid tipping.
4. The use of small glass bowls for small flowers such as violets. They are also good for flowers and buds that have broken their stems.
