Beer Food
How do you feel about beer and food pairing? IYO?
Is it a food & beverage ligidimate practice match? Is it more beer too bitter for a good game? Etc. .. Do you have a bitter IPA's better to go with a salad of endive? Meat? What works best with bitter?
I have a meal and beer / background brewing. I have always considered a wine match natural foods enemy, but a wider range beer. I've never found a great match for food beer, well yes, but not great. Years ago the beer and the food was a natural match. But we must consider a good point that you have done here, bitterly. Beers before use hop was not bitter, but sweet or a balance of malt sweetness. So much better matched the food. But then started to use herbs that gave the beer a better flavor dimension of complexity. Also were much more bitter beers closer to what is now a style called Lambic. Beer has been used in many classic dishes from the culinary history. So today I could be one of the outside or at least behind the times in beer and the marriage debate.
