Beer Collections
My girlfriend and I have our arguments on the first decorating with his beer can collection? Any advice?
His collection contains more than 5,000 cans of beer. It is one of his hobby, and although I've never been fond of it, I love him. We had planned to buy a house with a basement for their cans. He fell in love with a house without a basement and I believe only a few and keep the rest in storage, if we buy this house. We bought the house April. Now he wants to decorate your entire office with them. I was willing to compromise and let him decorate a wall. He agreed some weeks ago. Yesterday I called and told me that he was continuing ahead and do what he wanted with that room and go forward with their plans. While I'm not moving until September after the wedding, that hurts my feelings. And we have never had an argument until this, so I'm torn. He is 39. I have 32 years. I fear that is fixed in the form of Bachelor and not used to commit to anything. Feel must have a room to himself. I understand. But more than a wall of beer cans too! Please help!
Sorry, but I totally according to soft things. He needs his own space. He needs a room where he feels free to be a boy, and decorate as you want, and it is your room. You do not have to like it, do not even have to go there. You are marrying him, not maternal, and are both going to need to learn to make concessions. You have the rest of the house to decorate any way you see fit … I'm sure you will have a voice enormous furniture that comes in the paint that goes on walls, etc. It has its office. It is possible that all you see you can keep what will be his alone, and there is nothing wrong with that.
