Beer Chicken Recipe

Anyone know the recipe of Adam Gertler of beer can chicken?
For the final show of the next Food Network star, Adam Gertler made beer can chicken, but I can not seem to find it. Someone has the same one you used?
It was quite difficult to discern the recipe for this, but he used the exact same rub has been used for stuffed chicken pita. Smoky Barbecue Rub: 1 cup kosher salt 1 1 / 2 cups brown sugar 1 cup smoked paprika 1 / 2 cup chili powder 1 tablespoon dried rosemary (crushed slightly with spice grinder) 1 tablespoon dried thyme 1 / 2 cup granulated garlic does not use the entire amount over chicken one, give it a good layer of brush and bottle the rest to keep refrigerated, frozen up to six months probably. Then take the beer (I'm pretty sure any beer would, he used Old Chubb) and pour half in the pan. Add a few cloves of garlic, rosemary and a tablespoon of rub some beer in the can. Place the bird in top of the tin and transfer to the pan. Tuck the wings so they are behind the bird and put on lower rack in oven. Cook as you would any other roaster at 350 'for probably about 1 & 1 / 2 to 2 hours depending on size. If you buy a one timer with a pop-up, which should make it easy. I'm giving you a chance tonight – good luck!
