Beer Cake Decoration
What kind of party decorations for a 40th birthday party with a theme of Corona beer?
The 40th birthday party will be combined New Year with a party and so we need ideas on decorating. The theme will be Corona (beer). I'll make the cake in the shape of a bottle of Corona. Not sure what other ideas would be good. Any creative ideas?
Cakester_JC Hello! Sounds like fun, no matter what the decorations are! I have two thoughts – and are actually similar. The first is a Jimmy Buffett / Margaritaville theme (Corona is always a major sponsor of their tour): 1. Add some tunes Buffett to its mix of the parties. 2. Decorate with palm trees, parrots and other fun things tropical. The second is a beach / tropical theme – because lying in the sand is the best place to drinking a Corona: 1. Add a little music with a sensitivity of surf "to your mix (you know, Jack Johnson, raggae, etc) 2. The same tropical decor. 3. Get your guests leis as they arrive. You can get your local party store. 4. "People are in beachwear (Hawaiian shirts, flip flops, sunglasses, etc) and raise the temperature in your home at night. Enjoy the fun – Happy New Year to you!
