Beer Bread Mix Recipe
beer bread recipe does not work?! Please help?
Does anyone have a tried and proven recipe for beer bread, my family loves to bread unfortunately for some strange reason we can not get yeast bread to rise in our house. So I bought a box of bread mix and beer to mixed- was too expensive for three loaves. So while I try to do it myself. I made 2 loaves both of whom never got up. I wondered why the recipe called for using powder baking and all-purpose flour and saw another meal with the increase, if that was my mistake. Possioble Is my baking powder is bad? I was really appriciate any person and entry is a recipe for beer bread really woprks. Thanks!
Here is my "tried and true beer" bread recipe.'ll Love is so simple. Preheat oven to 350. Butter a bread pan. 3 cups flour 1 / 2 cup sugar 12 ounces beer (I open it 30 minutes before the plan bread mix) Mix well and pour into the bread pan. Bake at 350 for 90 minutes. Every 30 minutes, remove from oven and sprinkle the top with butter. (I lazy and only softened butter spread on top and it works great.) ** You can use any type of beer you want and bread slightly different flavor depending on the beer.
