Beer Battered Onion Rings Recipe

Does anyone have a mixture of beer recipe onion ring?
My mother, God rest his soul, used to make these, and they were impressive. By Unfortunately, I have your recipe!
This is not a beer recipe batter, but it is a fried onion ring batter that I made and is spectacular … stay crispy even when cold … Rachael Ray hats: ** ** Tempura Onion Rings 2 large, preferably Vidalia onion, cut into 1 / 4 "rings vegetable oil for frying 1 1 / 4 cups flour 1 / 2 cup cornstarch 1 tbsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1 1 / 4 cups ice water in a large bowl of cold water onions soak 10-15 minutes.
