Beer Batter Fish Chips Recipe
I'm going to do fried fish and chips. I Drakes batter. What should I add to this?
I like to mix beer. However, some I read recipes say to add an egg. What to do for the egg mass?? Some say the fish meal before putting in the dough, others not. What is your method?? Who has successfully done Fish & Chips? Anyone have advice??
I used the mix before dragons and it is wonderful Killians Irish Red by adding to it. However, I do not know the proportions of beer mix. I always dip the fish in flour first and then the dough. It helps the batter adhere to the fish if you can not find the whole mass of the fish will come off and float around in the oil. Hope this helps!
