Beer Bar Nyc Grand Central

Memorial Day 2007 New York City Trip to people in their late 20s?
My friends and I are coming to New York for the Memorial Day weekend 2007. We will be there on Saturday 26th – Monday 28th. We are looking for a room / bar key to go down on Saturday. Here are the criteria: – No cables or lists. we do not want to go to a dance club or a fashion show and do everything to see and be seen. – We want a crowd. beer and liquor. a bit strong, but a fun time. something we can wear jeans, a couple of drinks slam back and mingle with a fun group of twenty no.-very much in the kinds of places, whether artistic. beer whiskey and good times is what we want. We stayed in a hotel in Grand Central Station, but are willing to take a taxi somewhere. Thoughts and suggestions would incredible! Thank you very much ~ Kat
most of the nightlife of New York is not that what is described .. is what you want. I recommend taking the subway to the village to the west or "Greenwich Village" for the convenience of new york local bar scene you described. All trains go down there and it costs much less. My favorite is called the Slaughtered Lamb in the village, as well as c / McDougal. brewery. if you can find their way to the village from the west (not east) you will find tons places to go right next to each other
