Questions about British culture from an American?
What do you think of rap music. Has anyone heard Eminim? What brands jeans are more popular? Are Americans expected to bow to the royal family? Would it be rude not to do so if they are your subjects? Are ghosts common? Do you drink tea as much as you think? Coffee? You do not like vegetables, especially if they are raw or steamed? (Vs Musher). What is the best selling American beer? Are your McDonalds Big Mac and a bad taste like ours? Do you or would like to have a space program? What do you think represents the high number of Nobel Prize receipients and manages artists who come from their region. No significant portions of the population suffers from a disease mental? If so, what illnesses are seeing. How to cope with the gloomy weather, put it all in a bad mood? why people scarcasm? perhaps English stereotype of being kind and polite, not so true as when a time?
My husband is English so I asked to answer these for me (As I am American). 1. Yes Eminin know who he personally hates rap so they do not listen. 2. Possibly Levis, who has never paid attention to the brands clothing. 3. He does not believe that Americans are expected to bow before royalty "Succession and all that much." 4. He has no idea if ghosts are common. 5. He always used to drink hot tea, after moving there begins the consumption of coffee a day (do not drink alcohol at some time, only something that started to do). I have it hooked on iced tea, but sometimes still drink hot tea and when he does always comments "Ah, I feel British again! "6. Love and hate vegetables cooked.
