Basic Beer Bread Recipe

What is your best recipe for a simple bread?
I'm thinking of the future. I just entered a contest of bread and croissants lost. What are the simple and delish basic recipes for bread? Anything from white bread, beer bread, cereal, bread etc … I want to start making and practicing now, can Please share any you may have?
