What should I charge as a waiter?
Preparing to start a side business barman private parties, weddings, etc. My problem is I'm not sure what my duties to the hosts, taking into account advice and all that. The answer must come from someone who bartends Coast area of New Jersey, as you would like that rates closer to what should be mine.
I charge a basic fee, probably around $ 100 for either party, then a hourly rate of $ 20-50, depending on your skill and experience, and of course you were to take advice (Unless it was a hosted bar, in that case, I would like to track of everything you drink and then charge a 10% tip to the house at the end of the night of the total)
