Easiest way to store mixed drinks?
I am barman at school and I have a test, I know studying (reading over and over once) all drinks will help me memorize all the drinks, but do you guys have any other suggestions to help me?
Practice. I know it sounds trite, but true. When I was at the Bartending School of Ontario, which was what made me over the hump. (I have a terrible memory, usually). Mix drinks yourself at home, mix drinks for your friends. Most of all, going to bars and order a different drink each time. (Be sure to tip well, because the waiter who is practicing in probably has not made a rusty nail in years.) Think about what you're drinking, and drinking a variety. When you leave, try to drink a glass of liquor each group and main (Vodka, Gin, Rye, Scotch, rum), and a variety of mixtures. Good luck! It is a great profession.
