What does "dry" mean in terms of barman?

and there is some terminology barman can share with me? am a waiter again thanks heaps lol

Dry in terms of drinks, does not mean sweet. A dry wine is one that is not sweet. A dry bar, as opposed a bar, is one that has no sink. Other terms? A shot is 1.5 ounces. A "rail" is a drink made from the house, or the cheapest liquor. A "good" drink is made with liquors at moderate prices. "Top Shelf" is a drink made of high-end liquors. Can not think of anything else at the moment. Find drinks than is generally provided, and drinks that regular "order," and you should do well.
