What are the best proportions of Long Island Iced Tea?

I'll be a bit sorta bartender friend best of me opening Friday. We decided we wanted to fix Long Island Iced Teas, so I've been researching online. The proportions I've seen are quite consistent for gin, rum, vodka, tequila and triple sec (equal parts, very simple there.) But I've seen various amounts of Sour Mix. When you're using one ounce of each solution should be 2 oz sour it turn out that way. First, I am looking for a classic recipe, but I'd love to hear anyone's favorite variations too. And if you have suggestions to make to fall even easier and more delicious, please share! :-)
