Hey, I'm a college student looking for a better job. I am a student at the University of New York to support myself. I have a job already (part time), which pays the rent with virtually nothing left over. I've been trying (Unseccessfully) to get a bartender job. I really need another job soon, something that has a flexible schedule and pays decently. Any suggestions from anyone who has been in this position, or any good advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Try barman if you have the opportunity. I am a single mother and working a full time job days from 7am-4pm and bartender from 17:00 until midnight. You can make money and it's amazing all the cash. Plus you get paid per hour (at less than minimum wage). There were nights I would leave the bar at closing with $ 100 – $ 150.
