What do you think of this type on craigslist?
Waiter was looking for something on craigslist and emailed some companies Bartending the other day. I asked them if I can check your website or profile waiters or not. Most of them had their website and the profiles of the waiters, but one bother them and said simply "we are not a modeling agency" and refused to show anything on the website. But he said they are professional bartender service. His name is Bambooze Bartending Service. Do you think that was my fault and I was right in asking about their profiles, because he would not hire anyone without checking.
You should always do a background check and if this person was upset by his request, you can clearly see that he is not the ideal candidate for contract. When I try to hire a freelancer, I sometimes look at your facebook account .. I lurk, but you can get a glimpse of how this person will behave if you do get to extend his contract.
