There is more to tending a bar than it seems. Many people might think it is an easy job, but it's all Otherwise, as a bartender has many different rights and responsibilities. There are numerous bartending schools devoted to the art of teaching the skills necessary to provide Cocktail professional services. Some people think that bartender is one of the oldest professions in the world. Most of the duties that the bartender is responsible for those are a customer would never know.
The atmosphere of an establishment often depend on the personality of the person or persons tending bar, as they are often part the show. This is especially true with the bartenders style. If the boy or girl behind the bar is feisty and fun, then it tends to make customers at the bar optimistic and cheerful.
Thus, in this profession must not only learn the skills bartender, but you have to be really a people person. It is likely have to listen to customer problems and confessions. You have to entertain. You must also serve as a patrol time because it is their responsibility to ensure that all persons serving is of legal age to drink. Thus, these rights are not definitely limited to mixing drinks.
A waiter also usually the responsibility of keeping the bar stocked with supplies. Some of your responsibilities may include: keeping the bar stocked with alcohol, napkins, cups, ingredients for beverages, and various other bar items. In some places, the bartender is also responsible for carrying out snacks and other foods. In almost all cases, the waiters have to keep track of the money customers spend or not spend (if you have a chip), which can be difficult sometimes.
So, the next time you go to a bar and order a drink, think about how much responsibility waiter. His or her night there involves much more than mixing a cocktail of their choice and listen their problems.
It's easy to assume that the person behind the bar has an easy job because when you do think is that you are your only client. Without however, they have to serve everyone feel the same. Therefore, when the person who entertains their drinks with you, or you just feel comfortable, then are doing their job.
