Bartending Beer
Is bartending school worth it?
I've been a server for 5 years, only serves beer and wine. I always wanted to be a bartender and said they would make a great one .. but I have no experience. I could try to find a new job as a waitress where there is an actual, full liquor bar and work my way up. But I'll be graduating with my degree in 2 years, so I doubt you want to get into my restaurant if I have not had the opportunity to serve drinks. Do going to bartending school up all my chances and be worth the money I pay?
Bartender and I never went to bartender school. If you like it enough, the bar will teach you how to make drinks, the other is available online and will usually have chops about it. I just smartserve and worked as one.
