Montgomery Gentry Tickets – Acm Honors Duo
Brooks & Dunn and Montgomery Gentry have been duking out over the years for the title up on duo country music, Brooks & Dunn and retire, Montgomery Gentry is now the undisputed top dog. The duo will pay homage to a different type on 18 April when the Academy of Country Music Awards takes place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Most of the nominees have to wait for the show to see if they have won, but Eddie Montgomery And Troy Gentry have been given to the Academy of Country Music Depot / Home Humanitarian Award.
Both Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry hard work to return to the community by their time and talent for everything from support for U.S. military to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Other charities supported include St. Jude's Research Hospital Academy of Country Music ACM President's Ride benefit from lifting lives since 2004, USO Tour to the Persian Gulf, Hospice of the Bluegrass Foundation and multiple myeloma, melanoma David Dickens Research Foundation, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Patient Advocate Foundation.
Other stars win the Humanitarian Award in the past include Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Vince Gill and more. In the ACM awards, Montgomery Gentry is up for Top Vocal Duo of the Year face to face against Brooks & Dunn, Joey + Rory, Steel Magnolia and Sugarland.
Just because they are a duo, it means going everywhere together, Eddie Montgomery was in March, when he delighted music fans at Nashville's Douglas Corner Pub. According to the boot, Montgomery took to the stage with the band of 45 RPM and Merle Haggard sang "What I do (with the rest of my life)."
