History of Beer

The precise timeframe of beer is debatable. Experts place it between 10,000 years ago to 7500 years. That makes beer the oldest drink known to mankind. The inventors or discovers of beer, however, is not disputed. Almost everyone agrees that the Sumerians were the first beer in them. (God bless their souls!)

The Ingredients: barley, malt, hops, yeast and water. Each greatly alter the final taste of beer.

Beers beer comes in a number of varieties and variations. However, the beer can be classified into Lager or beer.

Lager: When the beer is produced by bottom fermentation process, beer is produced. In this process the yeast sinks to the bottom of the tank during fermentation. A pale golden liquid is produced.

Ales: When the beer is produced by the fermentation process high, there is beer. In this process the yeast is skimmed the top during fermentation. Ales are generally darker and stronger in flavor.

A more complete categorization is as follows:

Ale: Contains high content of hops and malt. Dark, almost black, defines this beer.

Bock: It originates from the German sources. Indeed Malti heavier then traditional beers.

Ice Beer: Beer is a medium with higher alcohol content due to elimination of ice crystals.

Lager: It means 'shop' in German. It has a mild taste and refinement.

Lambic is a type of wheat beer to which fruit and sugar is added during fermentation. It originated in Belgium

Light Beer: Characterized by a pale and watery appearance. It's low in calories and alcohol content.

Pilsners: Named after a town called Pilsen in the Czech Republic, where it was invented. It is known to have a malt character and dry finish of flowers. Pilsners are most popular beers brewed in the world. Golden Lagers also fall into this category.

Porter: This is a very dark beer. It contains a high content of hops and malt.

Sake: Sake is a beer made from Japanese rice. There are many types of sake and can take a variety of ways. This allows the love to compete with wine, as a cult.

Stout: This is one of the few beers that are sometimes served hot. However, the author would like any other beer fridge! It originated in London and the likes of coal and molasses with a bittersweet ending.

Wheat Beer: This beer is made with wheat malt. It has touches of flavors fruits such as banana, apple or orange. It is usually deep copper color.

White Beer: The wheat beer with hints lambic. Like lambic beers, has its origins in Belgium and has a fruity flavor.

A special note about the project (or shot): The project is any beer that pours a barrel. Any beer may be discharged in draft form. Typically robust and lager beers are served as a draft.
